Dr Janko Mrsic-Flogel has 22 years experience in Mobile Internet, 25 years experience in Internet systems and was a pioneer of mobile messaging and mobile data applications. Dr Mrsic-Flogel is CEO of Private Planet, a leading UK personal cloud computing company. His prior roles include being Managing Director of Dynamical Systems Research (UK) from 1993 to 2000 and subsequently the Technical Director at Digital Mobility (Sweden). He also served as Director of Applied Technology at BBC Vecta, the BBC's venturing arm. Janko has achieved high-yielding returns to shareholders in technology company sales and is the founder of several successful IT and Telecoms ventures. Janko holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering (specialising in Neural Systems) from Imperial College, London where he was also awarded the Governors' Lectureship in Computing Science. Janko is an acknowledged speaker, author of over 60 scientific publications and inventor of patent applications in areas of Computing, Neural Networks, Telecommunications, Interactive Television and Electrical Engineering. Janko has served as advisor on innovation and telecommunications strategy to amongst others Ericsson, Nokia, Transport for London and Barcalys Bank.
